IWC Schaffhausen Pilot's Watch Chronograph APXGP
With three new chronographs in its Pilot's Watches collection, IWC Schaffhausen celebrates its partnership with Apple Original Film’s “F1® THE MOVIE”, which is set to release worldwide this summer. All chronographs feature a design with colour codes and details inspired by the team colours and race cars of “APXGP”, the fictional 11th F1™ team at the heart of the movie.
The IWC Schaffhausen Pilot's Watch Chronograph APXGP (Ref. IW378009) features a stainless steel case with a diameter of 43 millimetres. This chronograph is dedicated to the “APXGP” team in the movie and features a design with black, gold and white elements. The stainless steel case is combined with black dials, which are printed with white numerals and golden minute markers.
The minute and hour hands and the hands in the subdials are gold-plated and filled with white Super-LumiNova®. The tinted sapphire case back features the “APXGP” team logo printed in gold. Water resistant to 10 bar, the Pilot's Watch Chronograph APXGP is fitted with a black rubber strap featuring a special laser engraving to commemorate the “APXGP” team. The durable and water-proof strap features IWC’s EasX-CHANGE® system, enabling the wearer to change them at the touch of a button without any tools.
Powered by the IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre. Engineered with a focus on performance, reliability and precision, this mechanical chronograph in a classic column-wheel design enables the wearer to accurately measure stop times of up to 12 hours. The hours and minutes are displayed in two totalisers at 9 o’clock and 12 o’clock.
